Pharmacists will administer Covid vaccinations, the minister in charge said today as he promised a “massive acceleration” in the programme this week.
After high-street chemists said that their offers of help had been ignored, Nadhim Zahawi promised that they would be “involved”.
However, it has yet to be decided whether vulnerable people will be able to get a jab at their local pharmacy or if pharmacists will be deployed to mass vaccination centres.
